I wonder why up till now none of those who were injured, lost their properties, displaced and the relatives of those who lost their lives have not SUED THE AMA or THE GOVERNMENT. The individual rights of the victims of this disaster had been tempered and it is in their right to SUE THE AMA or THE GOVERNMENT FOR THEIR LOSES. In Ghana everything is "Fama Nyame" but if a whole Mayor of the city of Accra has come out to say that "he has failed the people of Accra in this disaster" and have refused to resign and even vowed to continue to stay in office after being asked to do so shows that he has not regretted what has happened. It was the responsibility of the AMA and the government to see to the protection of the people from disasters such as these but they failed and as such they should pay for that. Ghanaians who were affected in this disaster does not need "peanuts" as compensation as we are seeing, but a substantial amount as compensation, although I agree with some assertion that that will not bring back what they had lost, it will serve as a lesion to those in authority to be up and doing their responsibilities. These victims should START TO TALK TO THEIR LAWYERS TO SEEK REDRESS.
