On September 19 at the Alajo Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church, the Accra North District Youth Ministries will battle for supremacy in a special concert code-named ‘SDA Talent Show'.

The show which will attract six churches from the Accra District comprising Abeka, Alajo, Abelenkpe, defending champions Accra New Town, Kotobabi and Maamobi, offers participants a unique opportunity to showcase their various talents.

Participants will compete for honours in areas like poetry recitals, artwork, solo renditions, Bible teaching, special talent show and draw- your-sword.

According to Nathaniel Kofi Armah, the district pathfinder leader, competitors would be judged by a high profile panel of five master guides (the highest rank in Adventist youth ministries) from different branches.

“This forms part of the church’s duty to maintain high standards of learning and morals among the youth in our various churches. Newtown hosted and won it last year, but the church to look out for now incidentally is the host, Alajo; of course, the church with many trophies, Abeka could pull a surprise. It takes so much, financially to put such a programme together so we are calling all to support us.”

He pointed out that participants who are between ages six to 20 would be judged on dressing, talent, showmanship, creativity among, others.
