Apostle Amoako Attah grabs African Prestigious Award

The Founder and leader of the Lord's Parliament Chapel International (former Freedom Chapel International), Apostle Francis Amoako Attah has been awarded “The Prestige Man of the Year Award” at the maiden African Prestigious Awards held in Accra.

The honorary award came in recognition for his achievements and impact on lives in Ghana, Africa and the entire world through his messages and his philanthropic exploits.

The honorary awards which was later presented to Apostle Francis Amoako Attahlast Sunday at the Lord's Parliament Chapel International auditorium was handed over to him for his contribution towards the development of Africa.

The first edition of the African Prestigious Awards was held in Accra, under the theme “Celebrating Achievers of Africa”, and was aimed at honouring and motivating individuals, institutions and countries on the continent to rise and build the continent.

Presenting the award to Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, Mr Emmanuel Gyau Addo, Executive Officer of EAD Group of Companies, organizers of the splendid award ceremony said the award recognized and honored 14 countries that are doing well in terms of economic development, four living heroes from these countries and finally African owned organizations under categories like Entertainment, Telecommunication, Media, Business & Finance as well as Oil and Gas.

According to him, there is a cause to write the story of Africa for the world to read instead of waiting for them to write negatives of our beloved continent, hence the time has come for African personalities who have made a mark and continue to make great marks in the lives of people be recognized and celebrated.

“Apostle Francis Amoako Attah is one of the fine gentlemen in the country who has done well enough to be recognized. We have been monitoring the activities of many people and personalities including pastors and prophets and we can say on authority that Apostle Francis Amoako Attah is a true man of God,” he said.

He appealed to the corporate world and other institutions to support the award so it can be expanded to touch more lives across Africa.

Receiving his award, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah expressed great appreciation to EAD Group for bestowing on him such honour.

According to him, the award is in recognition of what he is doing as a man of God and what he has been called to do.

He dedicated the award to the entire church, pastors and his lovely wife and noted that, “if God calls us as pastors, we are not living for ourselves but we must live for the people and the nation. We should work in the entire interest of the nation. That is what service to God and mankind is all about.”

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah also used the occasion to admonish other pastors, men of God and prophets to stop being media and political prophets and rather work to bring growth to the people they represent as men of God.

“There is no superstar prophet or pastor. We are all doing the work of God but by our output we will be recognised and appreciated by men, so will God who gives us the grace to win souls for His Kingdom also appreciate our good works,” he said.

He believed the award will motivate all recipients including him, to do more in their various fields and urged other pastors, Apostles and prophets to work hard knowing that there is someone watching and on the day of reckoning, He will reward them according to their works.

Prior to the award presentation to him, the EAD Group during the maiden celebration also awarded a number of African Heads of State and other people including LAS Liberty School of Ghana, the brainchild of Mrs Cynthia Agyepong, OmniBank, Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo-Founder and Leader of Kristo Asafo Church and the owner of KANTANKA automobiles, Tony Elumele of UBA and Founder of Tony Elumele foundation which gives support to young entrepreneurs across Africa; Evariste Akoumian and partners from La Cote d’Ivoire, founders of solar briefcase- SOLARPAK.

Others include Kwame Sefa Kayi of Peace FM, UTV as the best TV station, Joe Mettle, Rebecca Acheampong (Becca), Rev. Luch Natasha of Kenya, Bishop Sam Owusu, Apostle Fred Osei-Annin all of Ghana, and other internationally acclaimed actors among others.
