Brotherhood Church ends prayer and thanksgiving festival

Kumasi, Nov 2, GNA - Ghanaians have been asked to pray ceaselessly for continued peace, unity and progress of the nation. Primate Seth Adofo, Spiritual Leader of the Brotherhood Church, said the nation has every reason to be grateful to God for the stability it is enjoying. He was speaking at the closing of the week-long annual intercessory prayers for the nation and thanksgiving organized by the Church in Kumasi. He reminded Christians to worship God in truth and in spirit adding, they should not crave for wealth. In attendance were over 4,000 believers from all parts of the country and beyond. "Prayer, the weapon of our warfare", was the theme. He appealed to Christians to stay focused and resist the work of the devil. They should read the Holy Scriptures and live by it to improve their spiritual development. He said they also need to lead upright lives and learn to live in harmony with their neighbours. 2 Nov.10
