Accra, July 31, GNA - Christ Embassy Ghana would next month distribute more than one million copies of its best selling devotional and Bible study guides named 93Rhapsody of Realities" throughout the country. The campaign, which would be under the theme: 93Proclaiming Liberty= ", has been branded 93REACHOUT GAHANA (ROGHA) 2011. It seeks to rekindle the sense of patriotism amongst Ghanaians by urging them to contribute their quota in building and developing the nation= .. According to a release issued by the church and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, ROGHA 2011 was inspired by the Holy Scriptures, and i= t revealed the campaign's objective of giving the world of God as an instrument of total freedom.
Activities lined up for the one-month campaign include a launch on Sunday July 31 with a gospel musical concert at the Independence Square in Accra, featuring several gospel artists, carnival floats in all the 10 regions on Saturday August 6, where copies of the daily devotional and Bible study guides would be distributed free of charge to people. The statement said the distribution train will cover all major streets= , markets, shopping centres, hospitals, prisons, schools, public and private institutions and stadia.
There would also be free distribution points of Rhapsody of Realities, which would be easily identified by the bold red, gold and green ROGHA 2011 logo. The release noted that the guides, which were in the 11th year in print, were co-authored by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder and leader of the church, and his wife Pastor Anita Oyakhilome. It said more than 50,000 copies of the best selling devotional Rhapsody of Realities for early readers in primary and secondary schools would be distributed across the country.
The statement said the devotional guide contained God's word and less= ons about the lives of some characters in Bible, events in the Bible and everyday life that can help children to learn about principles of faith. The occasion will also be used for community development projects at designated locations
