Tema, Oct. 6, GNA - Bishop Akwasi Asare Bediako, General Overseer of the Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries in the United States, ha= s urged ministers of the gospel to remain resolute and steadfast to overcome the machinations of the devil. He also called on religious leaders not only spread the gospel and salvation, but also endeavour to meet the basic requirements of the needy and the down-trodden in society. Bishop Bediako was preaching at a thanksgiving service to climax a seven-day 93Transformation Season" programme organized by the Word of Transformation Chapel (WTC) at community 9 in Tema. It was on the theme: "Supernatural Transformation".
The occasion coincided with the re-naming of the Church which was hitherto known as Anointed Word Chapel founded eleven years ago in Tema by Rev Jeremiah Boakye Ansah.
Bishop Bediako commended Rev Ansah for his humility, hard-work, sacrifice and selfless devotion to duty that has endeared the hearts of the Christian community far and near. He urged him to remain focused and eschew complacency to win more soul= s for Christ.
Rev Ansah, Founder and General Overseer of Word of Transformation reminded Christians to show compassion to the needy and lead morally uprigh= t lifestyle to reflect that of Christ. On next year's general election, he advised Ghanaians to put their trust in Christ, the Prince of Peace to enable the nation to continue enjoy the prevailing peace during and after the polls.
