Christians told to seek their salvation above earthly materials

Tema, Dec. 25, GNA - The Very Reverend Aaron Gaise-Amoah, Superintendent Minister of Tema Saint Paul's Methodist Cathedral on Monday called on Christians to seed first the 'Word of God' above all earthly gains to ensure their salvation.

He said amassing wealth to the neglect of communicating with their Creator was not in their interest as it could backfire and then turn around to accuse innocent people for their mishap.

The Superintendent Minister was preaching at the end of a three-day crusade held by the Church at Tema Community one as part of its evangelism programme to win more souls into the congregation and also to mark the birth of Christ Jesus about 2,000 years ago.

He said acquiring luxury, especially those gained through foul means is ungodly which would not yield spiritual peace and success in life. Very Rev. Gaisie-Amoah therefore, urged those indulging in that practice to cease forthwith and change their attitude for a better life in order to leave an honest and good legacy for their dependence. 25 Dec. 06
