Accra, May 9, GNA - Apostle Kadmiel Emmanuel Howard Agbalenyoh, President of the World Theocratic Religious Organization, has called on Ghanaians to unite and rally behind the government for national development.
He said unity played a very important role in the socio-economic development of every nation and that no nation could be developed under divisiveness.
Apostle Agbalenyoh made the call at the celebration of the "Outdooring and Restoration of the Biblical Temple Service", in Accra on Saturday.
He said now that the elections were over; there was the need for political parties to bury their differences and to champion the cause of nation-building.
Apostle Agbalenyoh advised Christians to open a new chapter by refraining from acts which hindered national development He attributed the country's socio-economic woes to Ghanaians' rush for monetary gains instead of seeking spiritual upliftment. He said the Church, as part of its corporate social responsibilities, has put up basic and second-cycle schools at Homedakrom, near Opokuase, in the Greater Accra Region and that plans were very far advanced to put up an orphanage and a university. Apostle Agbalenyoh also advised parents to take interest in the education of their children to enable them to grow to become useful citizens. 08 May 09
