Bishop Dag-Heward Mills is entreating mourners at the funeral of Major Mahama to think of where the soldier’s soul is headed.

Founder of the Light House Chapel International, Bishop Dag-Heward Mills has taken to preach salvation on the burial grounds of the late Major Maxwell Mahama.

Hundreds of Ghanaians including state officials converged at the forecourts of the State House to pay their last respect to the fallen soldier who got killed by an angry mob at Denkyira-Obuase after he was mistaken as a thief.

Taking his turn on the burial grounds, the most respected preacher, Dag Heward Mills wondered; “Where will the soul of Major Mahama go?” – A question he sought to answer through a message of salvation.

Mourners are currently filing past the remains of the late soldier after which it will be transported to the military section Osu Cemetery for burial. The casket of the late major was closed for the filing past apparently due to the brutality meted out to him by the Denkyira Obuasi mob.

Meanwhile the family of the late Maxwell Mahama have entreated government to ensure that a monument is established in his favour so as to put to rest the menace of jungle justice in Ghana.
