The mortal remains of the Founder and Leader of the Lone Voice Ministry, the Reverend Kofi Awadzi, was at the weekend laid to rest at the Church's headquarters at Darmang/Ahwerease in the Eastern Region.
The late Rev Awadzi was a former Deputy Director, in-charge of Publishing, at the Information Services Department.
He also served for several years as a Public Relations Officer with the Ministry of Health.
Rev Delali Awadzi Osei-Boateng, a Senior Pastor of the Church, in a sermon, urged believers of Christ Jesus to renew their lifestyles to become models for the Kingdom of God by purging their hearts of malice and immorality.
She said: “We have to maintain a washed body through the word of God to ensure that we receive a good reward after we leave this life.”
Rev Awadzi, who is also the first daughter of the departed, paid tribute to her father for his good stewardship, saying by establishing a church and a prayer shelter as his legacy to the world, he had fought a good fight for posterity.
"Your legacy would ensure that there is a constant flow, for many years, of the river of salvation to those who are in need but are lost.
Rev Awadzi left behind a wife, Nana Yaa, and three children.
