Four Ghanaian Muslims have died in Saudi Arabia while on this year’s hajj pilgrimage.

They include: Hajia Afuisa Adam from Bawku, 60; Alhaji Musah Issah Nyamekye from Brong Ahafo, 70; Hajia Nafisat Issah, from Nima/Kasuwa; and Hajia Awusat Abdulai from Wa, 70.

The deceased pilgrims have been buried in the Saudi Kingdom. The Hajj Committee says their families have been informed.

“With a heavy heart and sorrow, I wish to extend our special condolences to the families” of the deceased pilgrims, “who after the entire Hajj Rituals and with a valid Hajj, Insha Allah, died by the Grace of Allah”, said the Public Relations Officer of the Hajj Committee, Muhammed Amin Lamptey said on his Facebook page.

“May Allah sympathise with them and grant them His favours and with Janat Firdaus."
