Ghanaians urged to give thanks to God

The Spiritual Head of the Brotherhood Church, Primate S.K. Adofo, has asked Ghanaians to be thankful to God for his continued blessing and gift of peace.

The year had indeed been a challenging one – political tension, industrial upheavals and economic woes, but in all these, the people were kept together and spared the trauma of nasty clashes and confrontation.

“For this we have every reason to be grateful to God”, he said in his seasonal message on the eve of Christmas.

Primate Adofo urged Ghanaians to ensure stronger commitment to live in peace, to forgive and reconcile with those who had wronged them, as they celebrated the joyous occasion of Christ’s birth.

There was also the need for all to show brotherly love and empathy for the poor, the suffering and the vulnerable in the society.

Again, it was an opportunity to renew their faith and closeness to God.

He encouraged Christians not to become lax in their preaching of the good news to turn people away from evil and allow Christ to take absolute control of their lives.

He asked all, to unceasingly pray for enduring peace, unity and stability in the country.
