Have faith in God - Ghanaians urged

Apremdo (W/R), Jan 4, GNA - A new church building costing 201,258,000 cedis for the Church of Pentecost has been dedicated at Kwesimintsim Number Two, near Takoradi.

Speaking at the dedication on Tuesday, Apostle Samuel Lord Agyin, Takoradi Area Head of the Church, urged Ghanaians to place their faith in God for the development of the country.

He called on them to see 2007 as a year for success and victory and assured Ghanaians of God's blessing.

Apostle Agyin stated that the Church had grown into what it was today as a result of the zeal of its founding members in evangelism and urged Ghanaians to leave a positive mark wherever they found themselves. Pastor James Gabriel Quardson, Apremdo District Pastor of the Church, in a sermon advised Christians to pursue worthwhile ambitions, saying, "It is the surest way of receiving God's blessing for the steady development of the Church and the nation".

Deaconess Glory Brobbey said the project was funded through appeal for funds, voluntary contributions and support from the Church of Pentecost.
