More Ghanaian Hajj pilgrims have returned home after successfully performing the annual pilgrimage in the holy land of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
The fourth batch of 316 pilgrims arrived on Tuesday at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) at1236 hours on board an Egypt Air Flight.
Out of the 5,480 Pilgrims from Ghana, the first batch of 319 Pilgrims returned home on Sunday on board Egypt Air Flight 3163 at 0420 hours, followed by the second batch of 317 on the same day, whilst the third batch of 314 pilgrims reached Accra on Monday at 1900 hours, all on board Egypt Air Flight 3167 and 3175 respectively.
Alhaji Alhassan Suhuyini, Communications Manager of the National Hajj Council, told the Ghana News Agency in Accra that more Pilgrims would be arriving on board Egypt Air from October 30 to November 02.
He said according to the 2013 Hajj Operational Timetable, NAS Air of Saudi Arabia would convey the rest of the pilgrims from November 03 to 07.
He said hopefully the last batch of the 2013 pilgrims would be back home by the close of day November 7.
He advised the pilgrims to exercise patience in clearing their luggage with the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority at the Hajj Village.
