My inspiration from Godâ??Part 1

Sometimes there is TEMPTATION to feel discouraged; when you see others around you seem to be making more progress than you. However, such a feeling is absolutely unnecessary, because you do not compare or measure your success with the success of others. Rather you measure your success with how much you are walking in the will of God for your life.

The fact that someone else is succeeding does not mean you are failing, for God has called each and every one to fulfil different areas of his vision. His plans and purpose for you are distinct, because He does not have, has never had and will never have a REPLICA of you. You're only 'you' that God has and would never have. So take pleasure in who you are and what God is doing in your life; learn to celebrate your VICTORIES

As I submitted earlier, the fact that someone is succeeding doesn't mean you are failing; hence you measure your success by what God has called you to do. Thus, when you see those who are doing well, rejoice with them! Be genuinely glad for them! Rather than become critical, look out for what you can learn from them! God's time is the best, in His own time He makes everything beautiful as the songwriter wrote.

I believe we are little Gods here on earth. Let us look at something from the Bible. In Genesis 1:11, the Bible says, “And God said, let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit-tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth and it was so.” Since I was born I haven't seen a sheep having given birth to a goat nor a goat bringing forth a sheep. A sheep will bring forth a sheep and a goat will bring forth a goat.

Therefore, God's children are little Gods on earth. If God created us in His own image, then we are God here on earth that makes God's children special and paranormal. Whatever God was and is today we are too. I strongly believe that. Think About it!

You are a miracle; you are fearfully and wonderfully made. But sin has a way of shrinking God down in our minds, puffing us up in our own estimation. Just a glance at the size of the universe and everything in it and our heart beats. You will realise that we are serving an incomparable God.

St Augustine, one of the fathers of the church and the faith, nailed the point home when he said, “Men go abroad to wonder at the height of mountains, the huge waves of the sea, the long course of rivers, the vast compass of the oceans, the circular motion of the stars...but they pass by themselves and don't even notice.”
