Nothing wrong for a woman to propose to a men - Prophet

Founder and leader of Father's Chapel International, Rev Prophet Isaac Osei Bonsu has thrown out a controversial challenge to women to have courage and approach men they intend to have as husbands despite the notion people have about that.

He said though our tradition do not go down well with such actions, he still thinks women can still approach men they think possess all the qualities they need in a man than to wait and loose what is good for them.

Rev Prophet Osei Bonsu speaking at an executive gathering at Akyem-Tafo on the theme: "How to choose the right partner" on Chocolate/ Valentine day, he called on the youth to be vigilant and prayerful before getting into marriage and therefore advised them not to be swayed away by one's beauty, wealth or anything materialistic but rather look for someone they can love forever.

He cautioned women to always be submissive to their husbands whiles men were also urged to respect their wives and also see them as their helpers but not labourers. " Women must respect their husbands because they are the head of the family, but men should also know that women are their helpers but not labourers" he added.

Rev Prophet Isaac Osei Bonsu however supported government's initiative of branding valentine's day as Chocolate Day to promote our cocoa but also called on government, churches, associations and other groups to organise seminars and symposiums on marital matters to strengthen marriages since number of broken marriages keeps increasing day by day.
