As the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) kicks off its annual Greater Works Conference on Monday, July 29, 2024, Pastor Mensa Otabil has expressed a deep sense of anticipation for the event, which also marks ICGC's 40th anniversary.
“This week, we will experience a profound manifestation of God’s presence. This is our God year and we must prepare to encounter the Lord in all dimensions of His glory,” Pastor Otabil declared in a video.
He has thrown an open invitation to Christians from all walks of life to participate in this significant gathering.
Otabil further emphasized that “What God offers is within your reach. It is up to you to step forward and claim it, which requires fighting the good fight of faith. The encouraging news is that God has already paved the way. Although challenges may arise, victory is assured because the outcome has already been determined.”
The conference will feature both evening and morning sessions to accommodate diverse schedules. Evening sessions will commence on July 29, 2024, at 5:00pm, while morning sessions will begin on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 9:00am. This structure allows participants to engage deeply in both spiritual and communal activities.
The conference also serves as a global gathering, offering attendees an excellent opportunity to network with people from all walks of life and from all over the world. This aspect encourages the sharing of ideas and experiences across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Attendees will enjoy vibrant musical ministrations from the ICGC choirs, known for their uplifting performances. A special highlight will be the participation of guest song minister Nathaniel Bassey from Nigeria, whose music is celebrated for its inspirational and worshipful impact.
Aside from the host pastor, some powerful men of God are expected to mount the pulpit. They include Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo from Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in the United Kingdom, Bishop Mike Okonkwo of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) in Nigeria, and Bishop Tudor Bismark from Jabula New Life Covenant Church in Harare, Zimbabwe.
These esteemed speakers will deliver powerful messages aimed at uplifting and challenging attendees, encouraging them to embrace Christ-like principles and contribute positively to their communities and the broader African continent.
