Kumasi, Sept 8, GNA - The Rev Edward Cudjoe Odame, General Overseer of the King's Church Ghana, has appealed to leaders to demonstrate transparency and accountability in the discharge of their duties.
He said good leadership could guarantee the effective utilization of state resources and that it was high time 93our leaders eschewed negative tendencies like bribery, greed, arrogance, nepotism and lukewarm attitude towards work".
The Rev Cudjoe told the GNA in an interview that sustainable socio-economic development of the nation should not be seen as the responsibility of government alone.
He appealed to other stakeholders including chiefs, churches, Muslims as well as non-governmental organizations (NGOS) to collaborate with government to initiate more projects to improve the living conditions of the people.
