Reflect soberly during Christmas – Rev. Nkrahene

Reverend Osei Kwabena Nkrahene, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church, Community 5, Tema, has urged Christians to soberly reflect on their lives and make amends as they celebrate Christmas.

He said: “As lights of the world and salt of the earth, Christians must go beyond the merry-making associated with the celebration of Christmas and lead morally upright lives worthy of emulation.”

Reverend Nkrahene made the call at the Christmas day service held on Tuesday.

Touching on the political climate in the country, Reverend Nkrahene urged Ghanaians to put their absolute trust in God and that He would solve the leadership dispute confronting the nation.

Rev. Dr Dora Bortey, Associate Pastor of the church in charge of women and children, asked Christians to use the Christmas celebrations to promote righteousness, purity and holiness in all their endeavors.

At the Grace Baptist church at Sakumono, Rev. Justifier Nii Noi Ocquaye, urged Ghanaians to live in peace with one another.

He also advised them to exert their energy on development oriented programmes and activities that would help move the nation forward.
