The Apostolic Church inaugurates Praise Team

Accra, Dec. 14, GNA - Mr Stanislouse Kwame Doku, President of the Adabraka Area Praise Team of The Apostolic Church, Ghana, has called on Christians to use music as an effective tool of communicating with God. He explained that music played very important roles in the spiritual and mental development of every individual and that without music, it would be difficult for any Christian to see growth.

Mr Doku made the call at the inauguration of the Praise Team of The Apostolic Church, Ghana at Madina near Accra on Sunday. The programme, was under the theme: "My Mouth Will Speak in Praise of the Lord."

The Team has Mrs Becky Ofosu-Appiah as Secretary, Mr Sam Quaye, Organizer, Mr Daniel Ofosu-Appiah, Financial Secretary, Mrs Gloria Owusu, Treasurer, Mr Ken Tsekpor, Programmes Secretary, Mr Alex Mensah, Public Relations Officer and Madam Leticia Alhassan, Assistant Treasurer. Mr Doku charged choristers to compose songs that would promote national unity and cohesion.

He advised them to always sing songs which would win more souls for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mr Doku urged Christians to be prayerful at all times and put their needs before God to ensure life transformation. He took the opportunity to advice drivers to desist from driving under the influence of alcohol in order to save lives and property
