There must be two distinguished Jesus Christ – being the Jewish Jesus the Messiah of Israel and the Gentile Jesus Christ of the Roman Kingdom. While the birth date of Israeli Jesus the Messiah is a mystery the Gentile Jesus Christ was born December 25, AD 1.
PROPHECY CONCERNING JUDEO-CHRISTIANITY
Although God promised sending the Messiah when our first parents disobeyed Him, It was in Patriarch Abraham that the Judeo-Christian faith was established –Genesis 12:1-3.
According to Patriarch Jacob, the grandson of Abraham, the religious leader would come from the tribe of Judah, which God has chosen to bless the entire world –Genesis 49:8-10.
Wonderfully, the Lord God of the Hebrews had revealed to Balaam, the Gentile prophet that the Jewish Messiah would come from the kingdom of Israel, being the offspring of Jacob –Numbers 24:15-19.
The prophet of deliverance, Prophet Moses pointed out that the promised Messiah would have Jewish identity Deut 18:18-20, which the book of Acts confirms – Acts 2. Another Hebraic prophet, Isaiah had predicted that the promised Messiah shall be born by a Virgin. This has the angel Gabriel fulfilled in Luke 1:26-32. According to Prophet Micah, the Messiah will be born in the City of His father David, which is Bethlehem in Judah –Micah 5:1-2. Eventually, the Jewish Messiah was born at Bethlehem in Judah during the reign of Emperor Augustus Caesar, about BC 4 – Luke 2.
The birth of Jesus the Messiah at Bethlehem was confirmed before King Herod by the Jewish religious leaders, when the three wise men from Persia saw the symbolic Star of the Messiah –Matthew 2:1-10.
After three and half years of intensive preaching, teaching and healing in Judea and Galilee, He was crucified by Pontius Pilate the Roman governor of Judah on 14th Abib, 31 AD. The procurator established the Hebraic prediction when he wrote “Jesus the King of the Jews” on the cross on which He was crucified –John 19.
Importantly, Jesus the Jewish Messiah confirmed the prophecy of Prophet Daniel, which predicts the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple of God –Matt. 24:14-15 and Daniel 9:25-27. This great prophecy was fulfilled when Jerusalem with the Temple was vandalized by the Roman Kingdom in AD 70.
After the colonization of Judea and Jerusalem, the Jewish Christian leadership fell to the Greco-Roman Christian leadership. The fall of Jewish Christian leadership brought into Judeo-Christian faith Greco-Roman religious influence. As early as AD 274, Aurelian the Roman Emperor decreed that the birth day of Ameen-Ra –the Sun god should be commemorated on 25th December throughout the Roman Kingdom.
