You're very guilty if my preaching bothers you – Prophet Kofi Oduro

Head Pastor for the Alabaster International Ministries, Prophet Kofi Oduro has disclosed that he does not preach to spite people and that people who are affected by his way of preaching are affected by their own guilt.

The controversial prophet made the revelation in an interview on “Upside Down” on Citi TV, monitored by GhanaWeb.

“Perhaps people are being tormented by their own guilt. I don’t think God’s word is spiteful. These spiteful people are the ones God is trimming from the flock. Why should I acrimoniously hate you? It’s baseless. I still love you, and have significant respect for you,” he said.

When asked whether he had seen some videos of controversial prophets Bishop Daniel Obinim and Rev. Kweku Agyei Antwi (Reverend Obofuor) reacting to his style of preaching, he said:

“I have never watched anyone who has made a video about me. Their message never got to me. I have been hearing some pastors have a problem with me, but I don’t have a problem with them, they might be surprised at my attitude towards them when I meet them.”

Prophet Oduro also advised Ghanaians to get closer to God, get to know Him by themselves, and not to rely on prophecies alone.

“These prophets are ambassadors of God, they empower us. Prophecy or gifting of God does not equate your growth in Christ. People should know the word of God for themselves,” he concluded.
