Ghana wasn't Heaven during NPP era but definitely far better than what we've been left with. Let's be frank!

For the sake of Jesus Christ, nobody/bodies in this country is trying to block the church from voicing its indignation over political rot or whatever it terms it to be. We are equally against acts of corruption and generally the ills of political governance. But when people take issues personal, all in the name of GOD and speak un-reverently, in fact in foul language, that fellow has gone berserk and must be met in equal measure. If a reverend minister who claims to be fearless speaks and makes bribery allegations with the concealment of names, the right that he has to speak his mind - is the same constitutional right that other citizens have to react. The outgoing moderator has exhibited cowardice and we are simply asking him to mention the names of those who attempted to bribe him. The acts of corruption has only worsened in this era - so we ask, if it has worsened, it is an admission that it existed and developed to this stage, where were these men of GOD when it was developing? Were the Prof. Marteys and his ilk in this country? This latter day saint of the Presby Church is simply drawing it into partisan politics and that is where our concern is. I doubt whether the congregation of the church has been listening to him. He is NOT doing general politics - he is doing PARTISAN POLITICS and the Church must not encourage that, because partisan politics is poisonous and DIRTY. The man has already handed over the church on the pulpit of the LORD to the NPP at the function he made those statements in Abetifi and the Church is happy with that? What I think the Church should be doing is to prevail upon him to retract that hand-over that church to a political family. He come out with the whole TRUTH if only the administrators of the Church wish us see it in that light. For such a well grounded church to allow Rev. Martey whose outburst was individualistic - and for the whole church to be acting as if it was involved in the alleged inter-course with the alleged bribe-givers, is rather shameful. The Presbyterian Church of Ghana, which believes in TRUTH should be TRUTHFUL to tell the former Moderator that he gives out the names or keep quiet. No one should play GOD - here. We are all sinners. If he realizes that he has sinned, he should kneel before the LORD and ask for gorgiveness.

We shouldn't sit down for things to get out of hands before we make a move. prevention has always been better than cure.

Those who are asking the Presby Church to keep quiet are themselves recipients of the bribes and monies being doled out by the NDC government . Shame on those people.

This is your own cup of tea. You can drink it hot or cold. The reality is that most Ghanaians have come to the realization that the hierarchy of the current Presby Church is an appendage of the NPP. Your posture over the years as a critic of the NDC has now been known aa doing the dirty work of one political party, the NPP. It will cost your image as a religious association a reparable over several years to come, especially if the NDC should win this Dec 7 election. You are finished.
