Live Grenade Kills NPP Party Police

Palaver -- Calamity befell one of the ?Goon Squads? of the NPP?s unconstitutional and illegal ?Party Police? who are regularly sent in batches of between 20-30 to Togolese President Gnassingbe Eyadema?s home village of Kara in Northern Togo to undergo training in guerrilla and urban warfare, sabotage, terrorist tactics and assassinations when in the course of the training, a live grenade which they were being trained to use exploded, seriously injuring four of them who were then rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.

Three of them responded to treatment and were discharged after a few weeks? admission and are currently sporting scars of their wounds, but that one of them by name Afriyie unfortunately died and his body has since been quietly released to his family for burial with a cover story that he died in a road accident whilst undergoing training overseas, and that these ?Goon Squads?, also referred to as ?Destabilisation Squads? or ?Party Police?, represent a ?clear and present danger? to ?Election 2004? and a real threat to any peaceful transition from the NPP to an NDC Government after the NDC has won the December elections, which is as sure as night follows day?
