100 Dignitaries to grace Coronation Match At Dormaah

More than Hundred dignitaries are set to troop to Dormaah Ahenkro to grace the eventual crowning of Aduana Stars as champions of the just ended 2009/2010 GLO Premier when they play Berekum Arsenal at the Agyeman Badu II Park on sunday in the PLB dubbed coronation match.

The delegates include representatives from the government, Traditional Rulers, Ghana Football Association members, representatives from the Premier league Board, GHALCA and media right broadcasters OMP amongs a lot. A source close to the club revealed that adequate preparations have been made prior to the biggest soccer event in the history of the town.He also revealed how the charismatic King of the Dormaah Traditional Area Osagyefo Oseadeayo Agyeman Badu II is anticipating for the ocassion including a mega party at the Dormaah Traditional Palace with all the dignitaries in attendace, the Aduana Stars technical,management and playing team."They will all get the chance to wine and dine with the great king.Its a very special occassion to him and every citizen of the Dormaah traditional area and Brong Ahafo as a whole"the source said.

Aduana Stars after historically clinching the Glo Premier league in their first year of participation upon consultations with the organisers of the league selected Berekum Arsenal as their opponents in the Coronation match, the team they beat in the final day match to secure the league trophy.

The club will thereafter be presented with Thirty Medals, a Tata pick-up and the ultimate league trophy.

Aduana stars won the league with 53 points and conceded no goal at home, a premier league record.
