Accra, Nov. 18, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has extended invitation to 30 locally based players to prepare for the impending Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) in Sudan, next year.
The 30-man team will begin camping at the Mariset Hotel, Osu in Accra between Monday, November 22 to Friday, 26, 2010.
According to a statement issued from the GFA copied to GNA Sports, the goalkeeping department will be made up; Stephen Adams (Aduana FC), Isaac Amoako (Kotoko), Akwasi Acheampong (Liberty), Ernest Sowah (Chelsea), while Godfred Saka (Aduana), Sabato Mohammed (All Stars), Prince Boateng (Kotoko), Francis Larbi (Aduana F/C), Seth Owusu (Kessben/Medeama), Alfred Arthur (Chelsea), Karim Alhassan (Hearts), Ofosu Appiah (Kotoko), Emmanuel Akoako (Aduana F/C) and Nafiu Mohammed are the defenders.
Gladson Awako (Lions), Obed Ansah (Hearts), Han Koufie (Kessben/Medeama), Issah Yakubu (Liberty), Mohammed Basit (Chelsea), Uriah Asante (Hearts) and Edwin Gyimah (All Stars) form the midfield component of the team, with Bismark Idan, Emmanuel Clottey and Frank Acheampong (Chelsea), Stephen Manu and Nuhu Fuseini (New Edubiase) and Osei Pele (Hearts) as the strikers.
The wingers are Eric Fordjour (Ashgold), Bernard Don Bortey (Aduana F/C) and Aaron Amoah (Mighty Jets).
