Rome - AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng faces a month-long layoff after sustaining a muscular injury at the weekend, the Devils' website announced Tuesday.

The 24-year-old Ghana international hurt his left thigh Sunday during a city derby that the Serie A champions lost 1-0 to Inter Milan.
