Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng is currently out of contract with AC Milan after his six months contract signed in January expired at the weekend.
The former Portsmouth player who returned to the Rossoneri after terminating his contract with German side Schalke 04 endured a second spell in Italy as he only started a game.
AC Milan coach in his last press conference of the season noted that Boateng is a good player but starting him ahead of the others was always going to be difficult.
"He is a player who always puts me in trouble, if I look at his attitude during the week he should always play, but I also look at the characteristics of the other and there is no way I can start him over the others,” he said
“He deserves something more to what I have seen, but unfortunately, a coach must make important choices.
“Many criticise him instead that he made in Bologna in the last 10 minutes was important, but finished player. He probably will not play from the first minute, but worth the space. ”
