Ghana’s Abdul Basit Adams has signed a year deal with Iraqi top-flight side, Al-Naft Junoob, Allsports.com.gh can confirm.
The former New Edubaise attacker last two months joined Turkish second-tier side Giresunspor but his contract got terminated after a new President took over the club.
However, the 25 year old attacker returned to South Africa and had trials with Bloemfetin Celtic but he failed to land a deal with the PSL side.
Basit in order to get back into football business has officially joined Iraqi top-flight side Al-Naft Junoob by a signing a year deal as the Iraqi league is scheduled to commence on the 15th September, 2015.
Al-Naft Junoob ended last season’s Iraqi elite division at the 15th position.
