Ghana defender David Addy has confirmed his departure from Vitoria Guimaraes this summer after refusing to an offer of a contract extension, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 24-year-old will be leaving the Conquerors as a free agent following the expiration of his two-year contract.
Addy joined Vitoria Guimaraes from giants FC Porto in 2012 having returned from a successful loan stint at Greek club Panetolikos.
He made 45 appearances in all competitions for the club including stints in this season’s UEFA Europa League.
The left-back’s highest point with Guimaraes is however considered to be their cup success in 2013 where they beat Benfica in the grand finale.
