Adomah sees red against Charlton

Ghana winger Albert Adomah suffered a red card in Middlesbrough’s 0-0 draw at Charlton Athletic on Saturday in the Championship.

The speedster picked up two yellow cards and was marched off in the 82nd minute at the Valley.

Adomah’s first yellow card was recorded on 75 minutes.

In midweek, the 2014 World Cup star missed the deciding penalty which led to Boro’s Capital One Cup exit losing 14-13 on penalties to Liverpool.

He has struggled to find his scoring boots this term after emerging the club’s top scorer with 12 goals.

Adomah has found the back of the net only once in nine appearances.
