Aduana CEO prevents coach from substituting player during league match

Coach Herbert Addo could be heading away from dethroned Ghanaian champions Aduana Stars after a bust-up with the club’s acting CEO over player substitution.

Reports say the ex-Asante Kotoko coach was prevented from making a substitution in the second half of their lague meeting with Medeama SC on Wednesday.

Acting CEO Kofi Manu, in the full glare of the spectators, physically prevented the change to be made.

The incident nearly marred the game as coach Addo walked straight to the dressing room until he was persuaded to return to post.

Aduana managed a narrow 1-0 win over Medeama courtesy Daniel Darkwah’s 5th minute strike to move fourth on the league table.
