Udinese profited well from the return of midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu to action as he played an influential role in their 1-0 away victory over Afriyie Acquah's Torino on Sunday evening.

The 25-year-old had missed Udinese's last two games in all competitions with a minor thigh problem.

But he returned with a big impact for the Little Zebras and played a key role from the midfield as he overshadowed the Torino midfield merchants in style.

Badu's brimming energy levels and workaholic form contributed massively to the win for Udinese as they recorded their sixth win of the campaign and move 12th on the table.

While Badu was enjoying a great evening, his Ghanaian compatriot Afriyie Acquah had to come off the bench to play for Torino who slipped to their sixth loss of the season.

Badu says the victory was a Christmas package for Udinese fans.

"It was really a good game and I happy with the way I played back from injury. The win a little Christmas package for the Udinese fans who have been backing the team all this while," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The Serie A takes a break and will return in the first week of January.
