Ghana international Agyemang Badu has agreed a contract extension with Udinese Calcio which will keep him at the club until 2020, the Serie A outfit have announced.
Badu, has swerved reports linking him with a transfer away from Udinese by signing a four-year deal in a huge boost for manager Giuseppe Iachini, who rates the Black Stars midfielder highly.
Premier League side Middlesbrough were reported to be leading the chase to secure the signature with Stoke City also showing keen interest. But Udinese have acted fast to end those speculations.
He joined Udinese in the summer of 2010 and has established himself as one of the key players at the Dacia Arena with over 100 appearances and eight goals to his credit.
