Ahmed Barusso Yearns For Ghana Return

The in-form youngster is hoping for a World Cup call-up...
As the World Cup draws closer, Ahmed Apimah Barusso has surfaced in the news hoping to make a comeback to Ghana's national team.

The Torino midfielder told Joy Sports he is yearning to return to the Black Stars on the merit of his performances with the Italian Serie B side.

Torino are sixth in the league table with 58 points and are fighting for promotion to the Seria A.

Barusso was part of the CAN 2008 team which won bronze in Ghana but played a minimal role in the team’s drive for success.

The 25-year-old said he will make an impact during the World Cup if the opportunity is given him.
