Former Asante Kotoko attacker Ahmed Toure has returned to his native country Ivory Coast after a successful trial with South African giants Kaizer Chiefs.
The 28-year-old was in South African to hold a two-week trial with the Club.
The player who seemed to have caught the interest of the former South African Champions is expected return to the Club in June where he could be finalizing a deal with the Club.
Sources close to the player have revealed Chiefs manager Steve Komphela was impressed with the player hence planning to add him to his squad when the new season begins.
Toure who was Kotoko’s top scorer last season parted ways with the Porcupine Warriors on mutual consents after returning from a short stint at Lebanese Club Nejmeh.
The former Lokeren, CS Sfaxien and El Gouna goal poacher will be hoping to land himself a deal with the South African outfit.
