Egyptian side Al Ittihad Sakndary have parted ways with a greater part of its playing body with the exception of Ghana’s Francis Akwaffo and seven others.
The Ghanaian winger has been the club’s best player since joining them three seasons ago and has been pivotal in various campaigns.
“There is a serious overhauling in my team, only me and seven other players remained,” Akwaffo exclusively told Goal Ghana. “There is a new coach Talat Youssif and he will bring in new players to add up to we who were maintained.”
Goal Ghana also understands the club has rejected two recent offers for the former local Black Stars player.
