Cape Coast, May 10, GNA - The hopes of Swedru All Blacks Football Club of qualifying for the first division were shattered when they were held to a 4-4 drawn game by Ofaakor Odupon Heroes in the Central Regional Second Division super middle league match at the Cape Coast sports stadium on Sunday.
Heroes who did not fare well in the competition and lost their previous matches by 3-0 to Bless F/C and 4-0 to Abura Odonase Schalke "04", however managed to shock All Blacks by taken an early lead of 3-1 at the half hour mark.
After resumption of the second half, both sides made some substitutions and that benefited All Blacks the most as they took full control of the game and it was therefore not surprising when midfielder Nana Andy Sinasi exploited a defensive blunder to increase his sides score to 3-2 in the 57th minute.
Heroes however did not give up the fight and once again came into the picture to increase their tally to 4-2 through outside right Mark Abosey in the 73rd minute.
Undaunted by this lead, All Blacks hit back and with persistent pressure on their opponents, they scored two rapid goals through centre half Sumalia Abubakar and Nana Andy Sinasi to bring the full time sores to 4-4.
