Amamoo Wants A Second Chance With Ghana

Shot-stopper William Amamoo is pleading for a second chance with the Black Stars after an abysmal performance in an international friendly against Japan last year.

The 27-year-old conceded four second half goals after coming on for Richard Kingson with Ghana holding a 3-1 lead over the Blue Samurai.

The former Liberty Professional last man told Citionline.com, “I was used as a scapegoat in that game against Japan and I hope that will not be the case when the coach names his squad for the World Cup.

“I am having a fantastic season and I am sure if the coach and his technical people are monitoring, they will tell you I’m not doing badly at all.

“I am still improving on my performances and hopefully if the coach continues his monitoring method, I expect to be in there.”
