Berekum Chelsea do not play Asante Kotoko until match-day-11 but that is the fixture new signing, Baba Adamu Amando, is relishing the most.
The former Kotoko striker has joined Chelsea after spending the last decade abroad.
Amando, who dazzled the Kotoko fans in his brief spell there earlier on in his career says Chelsea's games with the Porcupine Warriors are the ones he is looking forward to most. The first of those games will be on November 11 in Kumasi.
"Kotoko know what I can do. It is the sort of stage I love. It's not just me who will relish that game. There will be Charles Taylor [another Chelsea signing] too. It will be a very interesting," Amando said ahead of Chelsea's opener in Accra against Mighty Jets.
The player, however, expects his former side to challenge for the title this term.
"I think Kotoko will be tough to beat this season. I saw the game against Hearts in Accra and the manner they beat Hearts was impressive. Maxwell Kondau knows the local terrain well too so this season I think they will be tough,” he said
