Amoah Fancies Big Move

Vitesse Arnhem striker Matthew Amoah has revealed that he will look to put himself in the shop window at next summer's World Cup finals.

The free-scoring centre forward played a key part in firing Ghana to Germany next summer and he fancies testing his skills on a bigger stage.

Amoah is in the final year of his contract and has not ruled out heading out of the Gelredome in January if a decent offer arrives, but feels he could announce himself on the world stage in the summer.

"Vitesse is looking to get some cash for me, but I am the only one who makes the decision on my future," the 25-year-old told Voetbal International.

"After the World Cup I am a free agent and if I do a good job there, there is a chance a big club will come in for me.

"But if such a club comes in for me during the winter break, that would be okay."

Amoah fancies a crack at life in England, as he added: "I certainly prefer England, I am looking for a club in The Premiership."
