Swansea expect Andre Ayew to play against Stoke on Monday Night Football, according to Sky sources.
The forward pulled out of Ghana’s match against Canada on Wednesday after picking up a knock to his knee in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham last time out.
Ayew scored and completed 90 minutes at the Liberty Stadium but did not fly to the US for the game in Washington – which finished 1-1 as a precautionary measure.
But he is in line to return against Stoke next week as the Swans look to arrest a run of five games without a win in all competitions.
Ayew has impressed since signing on a free transfer from Marseille in the summer, scoring four goals in his eight appearances so far.
The 25-year-old has 66 caps and 11 goals for Ghana since his debut in 2007.
