Annan For Blackburn Rovers

Reports reaching CITI FM indicate that Hearts of Oak?s talented midfielder Anthony Annan could be on Blackburn Manager Mark Hughes? list if the player can get a work permit in England.

The nineteen year old, who is an indispensable part of Sanzio Bahner?s Hearts of Oak set up, has a great deal of potential according to Blackburn even though he lacks experience.

However, Annan would not be the first youngster from overseas to come to the Ewood Park and Rovers are keen on having a look at the player.

Rovers? Executive Chairman, John Williams has been quoted as saying that they are taking a look at the player and it will make sense for them to bring them over so they can have a closer look at them.

Anthony Annan is also an integral part of the current Black Satellites set up, where he plays the role of sweeper for the club.

He even captained the Satellites in a friendly against Hearts of Oak some three weeks ago which ended in stalemate.

Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer of Hearts of Oak has told CITI FM that a number of foreign clubs have expressed interest in the boy and Blackburn Rovers could be one of them.
