Rosenborg midfielder Anthony Annan is hoping to earn a January move if he impresses in the Europa League.
The 24-year-old Ghana international caught the eye during the World Cup this summer but did not manage to get a switch away from Lerkendal.
He is now determined to help the Norwegians in the Europa League and possibly earn a deal once the transfer window reopens in the winter.
"I had really looked forward to move," Annantold Adresseavisen.
"But it didn't take place and therefore I will do everything I can for Rosenborg."
Tough tackler Annan moved to Rosenborg in 2008 and has gone on to become a leading player for the club, sparking transfer speculation.
