Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper?s trainer Edward Ansah is upbeat about the team?s chances against the Super Eagles on February 7.
The former national goalie told the Nigerian sports magazine, KICK OFF: ?The Stars have what it takes to beat any team in the world?.
The two sides last met at the Egypt 2006 African Cup, which the Super Eagles won by a lone goal courtesy of Taye Taiwo's late strike, which he attributed to loss of concentration.
However, Ansah, who made his name in Nigeria during spells with Iwuanyanwu Nationale and Leventis United in the early nineties, said that revenge is not the main issue in the camp of the Stars.
According to him, their main worry is to build a strong team for Ghana 2008, promising that they will give the match the seriousness it deserves.
He said coach Claude Le Roy plans to try out some new players in his quest to build a formidable team for the Nations Cup.
