Appiah Back To Juventus?

Stephen Appiah, the captain of the senior national team, black stars of Ghana is at the moment on light training with Brescia, an Italian Serial B football club but will start normal training next week.

Rumours have it that, Appiah will be signing for Brescia but according to him, he is only training with the team because he is being treated by the team’s doctor. Meanwhile the management of Juventus, his former team is holding talks with Appiah and it is likely he will sign and play for Juventus next season though he has a year more to play for his current team, Fenerbache in the Turkish league.

In an interview with the skipper, he expressed his profound gratitude to his colleagues in the national team especially, John Mensah,Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari for their good team work in his absence.Appiah appealed to the GFA to get a competent coach, he also said he hopes to play Ghana’s match against Libya in Tripoli come September 5. Appiah also assured Ghanaians that Ghana will qualify for the 27th CAF Nations Cup (Angola 2010) and the FIFA World Cup (South Africa 2010).
