Accra, Dec 21, GNA - Kumasi Asante Kotoko's stocky striker, Nana Arhin-Duah is to appear before the Disciplinary Committee (DC) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) again on Thursday, December 23, to answer charges of assault against referee Buckman Yanney.
The case was originally fixed for last Thursday, but the player was said to have pleaded for an adjournment citing personal problems. Arhin-Duah is alleged to have punched referee Buckman Yanney in the face during a Premier League match against Real Tamale United (RTU) at the Tamale Kaladan Park.
He is to appear together with referee Yanney.
The Committee has also extended invitations to referee's William Okuampah, Mary Adamah, Christian Quartey and all the match officials who handled the game between Tarkwa United and Samartex as well as the fourth referee.
The Chairman of Tarkwa United is also to appear before the Committee alongside Pro-Sports, Bronkyempem, Wise Fighters and Gold Stars. The Committee warned that those who fail to appear would have their cases determined or struck out for want of prosecution and reminded those involved especially the referees that those who fail to appear would be sanctioned.
