Russian Premier League side Arsenal Tula have completed the signing of Ghana international midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong on free transfer.
Arsenal Tula have confirmed the midfielder, capped once by Ghana, has signed a two-year-contract with the club but did not reveal other details of the contract.
But the 24-year-old former Arsenal player has confirmed the move on his official Twitter account.
The powerful ball-battling midfielder joins Ghana defender Awal Mohammed who has also signed for the Russian top-flight side.
Frimpong makes a return to the Russian Premier League after failing to secure a move to American Major Soccer League side Kansas Sporting City.
The former England youth team captain spent two seasons at FK Ufa where he made 25 league appearances.
Frimpong has been struggling to get his career back on track after leaving English giants Arsenal in January 2014.
