Asamoah passes fitness test to face Olympiacos

Juventus name a 21-man squad to face Olympiacos in Tuesday’s must-win Champions League affair, including Ghana star Kwadwo Asamoah.

The Bianconeri are looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats in Europe at home to the Greeks in midweek, and have received a boost with the inclusion of Asamoah in the squad.

The Ghanaian international was a significant doubts for the game having picked up a knock in the weekend win at Empoli, but has seemingly done enough to prove their fitness in training on Monday afternoon.

Martin Caceres does not make the cut, whilst Juve are also still without the likes of Andrea Barzagli, Patrice Evra and Luca Marrone, leaving the back-line again looking stretched.

Juventus squad to face Olympiacos:

1 Buffon, 2 Romulo, 3 Chiellini, 5 Ogbonna, 6 Pogba, 8 Marchisio, 9 Morata, 10 Tevez, 11 Coman, 12 Giovinco, 14 Llorente, 19 Bonucci, 20 Padoin, 21 Pirlo, 22 Asamoah, 23 Vidal, 26 Lichtsteiner, 30 Storari, 34 Rubinho, 37 Pereyra, 38 Mattiello.
