Obuasi, March 29, GNA - Premier League leaders, Obausi AshGold beat First

Division side, Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs 2-1 in a friendly football match played at

the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium at the week end. The match formed part of AshGold's efforts at keeping the team in top shape to

win the Premier League title. It was Dwarfs who scored first in the ninth minute when Ashgold's hard pressed

defender Issah Zakari deflected the ball into his own net. AshGold who seemed undaunted, accepted the challenge and levelled up the

scores in 23rd minute through Yakubu Mohammed with Eugene Owusu-Prempeh

making it two for the Miners in the 72nd minute and try as both teams did they could
